Karena rumus ini simple (sederhana), maka rumusnya pun sederhana. Kita hanya memerlukan Verb-2 sebagai ciri-ciri mutlak rumus past tense. Sehingga rumus dasar kalimat verbalnya adalah: S + Verb-2.
